Eco-Farming Practices for MATI Daycare Parents
MATI Bangladesh proposes a 12-month project to help 50 farmer parents of the 120 children at its Gohailkandi Daycare and Pre-school in Mymensingh produce and use vermicompost and botanical pesticides. Local farming families face rising and unpredictable fertilizer and pesticide costs, along with soil, food-safety and chemical-exposure concerns from heavy synthetic input use.
